For those of you who happen to own and use SD2IEC devices, like the MMC64, Retroswitch Flyer, TheC64Mini, or other modern mass-storage media reader, you may find this collection of programs and games useful.

Many of these kind of devices have the ability to run Commodore PRG files directly. That is, they are not required to be in D64 disk or T64 tape images to be used. Therefore, you can save the PRG (aka program) files directly to the SD storage device and run them on your Commodore. Not only is this convenient, but it can also make LOADing games and programs much faster than having to wait for their disk or tape counterparts.

However, there is a drawback to using PRGs, and that is: you cannot run multi-load programs with this method. Each game or application needs to be self contained in the single PRG file.

I have gone through my collection of disk and tape game images and extracted all of those that are single-load PRG compliant, as well as those that will run on an NTSC system (some may run fast, but at least they're playable).

You can use these files directly with an MMC64, Retroswitch Flyer, or equivalent device. If you utilize your Flyer with the CommodoreONLINE service, you can LOAD these games directly from your account via the on-line service. They are also compatible with TheC64 and TheC64Mini.
